Children’s Ministry

Children in Worship
At Eastminster, it is our great hope that all of our children will join us in worship with their families. Learning the stories of faith, parts of worship, celebrating the sacraments, learning the hymns of the faith and passing the peace with our church family are important times in the lives of our children. We believe children learn them best from participating in and worshiping alongside their church family. In order to support our children and their families, we provide worship bags and boxes for our children to help them participate. We also provide tables with activity boxes for families to worship together.
Children Ministry
Each Tuesday night at 6:30, all children are invited to join Joan for Zoom Storytime. We share a variety of children’s books and spend time checking in with our church friends. All are invited for this special time!
Our children will be using curriculum from Illustrated Ministries. We will dive deeper into the scripture passages shared in worship each Sunday. We will explore scripture through stories, music, art, games and more. During the season of Lent, we will join with our entire church family and build on the theme of Seeking, Honest Questions for Deeper Faith. Children are led by Joan Jones and adult and youth volunteers. We meet immediately following worship each Sunday morning.
Children’s Sunday School

Church Nursery/Childcare
We have a nursery for children, infants to preschool age, available each Sunday morning if needed, but all children are invited to worship with us and can share in the time for children during the worship service. Children K and older will worship with their families.
