Children in Worship
At Eastminster, it is our great hope that all of our children will join us in worship with their families. Learning the stories of faith, the parts of worship, celebrating the sacraments, learning the hymns of the faith and passing the peace with our church family are important times in the lives of our children. We believe children learn best from participating in and worshipping alongside their church family. In order to support our children and their families, we provide worship bags for the children to help them participate in the service. We encourage parents to share a bulletin with their child so that they can follow along and participate at their level. Children’s bibles are also located on the bookcase in the back of the sanctuary.
All children are also invited to share in a Time with Children during our worship service. The stories and prayers that are shared during this will teach the stories of faith to our children in words that they can understand. Our children also serve as acolytes, communion assistants, noisy offering collectors and also as liturgists on a regular basis.

Church Nursery/Childcare
We have a nursery for children, infants to preschool age, available each Sunday morning if needed, but all children are invited to worship with us and can share in the time for children during the worship service. Children K and older will worship with their families.
