Music at EPC
At Eastminster Presbyterian, we believe music is an integral part of our fellowship as a church family, and should be open to all who desire to worship Christ through music. We also seek to incorporate a variety of musical worship traditions each Sunday. To that end, the Music Ministry at EPC is dedicated to offering opportunities for everyone who is interested in leading worship through music. Each of our musical ensembles seeks to educate and enrich all of the participants who give their time so graciously to this ministry. We offer opportunities for both instrumental and vocal music, and for children, youth and adults. Everyone is welcome in the Music Ministry at Eastminster! If you are interested in joining, please take the time to read about each of our different ensembles to find which one works best for you.
The Chancel Choir is open to adults and high school students interested in leading worship through music. This is the main musical group whose primary responsibility is leading worship on Sunday mornings. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7-8pm in the choir room at the back of the sanctuary. Feel free to join at anytime! We are open to beginning and experienced musicians alike. Come join us on Wednesday evenings as we prepare to lead worship through wonderful music
Contact Lucie Svatona-Hughes at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions regarding Chancel Choir.
The handbell choir contributes to worship services periodically throughout the year. The choir performs a wide variety of music, but takes special pride in being a source for great fun, spirited music making, and fellowship! Rehearsals are Wednesdays 6:00 - 7:00, with visitors welcomed any time to observe or participate. The handbell rehearsal room is at the end of the downstairs hall. Feel free to contact Lucie (email@example.com) or Jim (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
