VISITORS
Welcome! This page should help you when visiting our church.
Who are we?
Eastminster consists of a wide range of
people, from birth to folks in their
80's. You can bet you will be welcome
here.
When should you arrive?
Our service starts at 10.30, so
you'll want to arrive shortly before
that time. You will be happy to know
there is plenty of parking at our
church. Need directions? When you come in
the door, two greeters will be there to
welcome you and they will give you
information about our church.
What should you wear?
Wear whatever you feel comfortable
wearing. That's what we do. We're
informal in our dress and we accept you
just the way you are. So come in your
business suit, sun dress, or jeans.
What will happen?
Some people are a little anxious about
going somewhere for the first time. So
here's what you can expect. We're a laid
back, friendly bunch of people. Any of
us could answer any of your questions.
As you enter our church, there are
bathrooms and a water fountain on the
right. Child care is to the left and
then down the hall to the right. The
sanctuary (all purpose room) is straight
ahead.
We start at 10.30 with some welcoming words, and then some announcements, followed by joys or concerns from our congregation. A prayer, a prelude, and a hymn follow. Our music is accompanied by a grand piano, and we sing most hymns from the traditional hymn book or a newer supplement. For a look at our service, check out our bulletin.
For more information, check our about us page. Or you can read the welcome from
our co-pastors.
Finally, if you have a physical
disability, you'll be glad to know our
worship service is on a ground floor so
there is no need to negotiate stairs. We
have reserved parking spaces close to
the door, and our bathrooms are
accessible. We have hearing assistance equipment available for worship services or other events.
