CHURCH NEWS

·         This Sunday, June 6th our guest preacher is The Reverend Nancy Blakely.   Please support our guest preachers during this time of transition.

·         Please volunteer to help as a substitute during the Summer!
We need YOU!
Summer is quickly approaching and all of our teachers are looking forward to a well deserved vacation! Starting June 6th, we’re launching the Subs of Summer campaign to fill those spots. For 10 weeks, we’ll need 4-5 people each Sunday to teach Preschool and Elementary Sunday school and Children’s Worship. This is a great opportunity for someone that can’t commit to an entire school year, but can manage a Sunday or two in the summer. All lessons and materials will be provided- no experience required! If you’re interested in helping out, please contact Scott Carlson at scott@schneidertree.com or 449-0391

·         Social Sundays have been a great fellowship gathering time and I am looking for volunteers to host on the following dates right after worship service: June 20, August 22 and September 19. Your family can host or your church committee members or Sunday school class can host.  The Thursday morning ladies circle graciously hosted last month's social Sunday. Ask them how easy it was.  See any of the following Fellowship Team members if you would like to host.  Sharon DaughertyLindy LandersEileen Osteen, Jane Couch or Lisa Ferney.

·         The Outreach Team invites you to join us on June 16th at 7pm for our monthly meeting where we will host guest speaker Arelis Moore from Cafe Cultura.  Cafe Cultura is one of the agencies that Eastminster is currently partnered with and we look forward to learning how we can build on that relationship for future endeavors.  We invite everyone to come.  This is an excellent time to learn more about Outreach at EPC and about Cafe Cultura.
We will meet again on July 21st at 7pm to prepare for our Fall Season.
